Rnx - g300e windows 7

So I disabled the software from startup and the card works the same just through Windows. Have liked the card, but have not liked the included Ralink wireless utility "RaUI" Ralink allows you to bypass their utility and use Window's Zero Configuration Utility instead, but the Ralink utility still had to be installed, and still sat there using resources.

I tried the latest driver from Rosewill's website V3. But I just downloaded the latest Windows driver from Ralink's website newer driver than Rosewill's , and discovered that it allows a driver-only install after the installation setup is started--RaUI not required. Very clean! Also appears to support Windows 7. Pros: This card works great and I install them on every computer that I build to sell.

I don't know why other reviewers are having trouble with drop outs and crashes. I even have one on a dual boot Vista 64 bit and Windows 7 64 bit RC machine that I built to be a showcase computer in my store and it works great!

If possible, download the most current drivers from Rosewill, I never use the drivers that come with anything that I buy cause the drivers on the manufacturers sites are more up to date and usually better. Cons: Since I build and sell computers and I buy so many of these I wish I could get them a little cheaper but I really can't complain about the price. This card works as good as or better than cards costing 3 times as much. I wish Rosewill made internal wireless cards for notebooks cause I would use them in the notebooks that I build too!

Pros: Eventually works fine, tiny, comes with a bracket for small cases, uses a tiny antenna. If so, please reinstall the driver in Compatibility Mode for a test.

If there is any error, please capture and upload it. I suggest Daniel Ho, you don't post answers on the issues you have no answer for, ur suggesting router setup stuff and if u read Vabruno's 4 post you should see that he has Driver problem and not the connection problem, I bet he will do just fine as soon as windows 7 will let us use "Digitally UNsigned Drivers.

Now about the problem let me explain as simply as possible. After installing the product using all kinds of drivers included on the CD and what's available on the Rosewill's website drivers for XP,Vista, 32Bit as well as 64Bit he gets exclamation mark next to installed device saying that there is a problem:.

Windows is unable to verify digital signature on the driver. Now it woudn't have happened on any other windows XP, Vista but Windows 7 clearly says: "Due to the possibility that Digitally UNsigned Drivers by the manufacturer of the product may be altered by third party may contain malicious software or any other problems of that type. I believe only solution for that issue is either get rid of the card or windows 7. Correct me if I'm wrong, maybe there is a such driver or there is a way to somehow make Win7 let us install the driver that is "Unsigned".

Newegg, your people set the standard and raise the bar as far as customer service. Thank you so very much for solving a big problem, which was not even your problem to solve, go away. Has Windows 7 Pro x64 drivers! Not sure what other people are talking about but Rosewill's website has Windows 7 drivers. Overall Review: I wanted a cheap card that would work in Windows 7 64bit.

That is what I happily received. Black little antenna looks great sitting on my black Antec Three Hundred case! Pros: The major pro: according to speedtest, my connection speed nearly doubled in comparison to USB wifi adapter with an internal antenna! External antenna can be positioned conveniently I've put mine on top of the computer case.

The card itself is fairly small and thus unlikely to interfere with internal cable arrangements. Cons: I am not very keen on the included wireless utility I have seen it crash on other systems , so I turned it off and am using Windows' own wifi manager instead.

Antenna cable is not very long, but that's a minor disadvantage. Overall Review: When it arrived, the box made rattling sound due to loose cable. There was no physical damage though. My previous adapter USB stick, see above started randomly switching to a channel somewhere in 4 GHz range, according to its bundled utility.

I am glad I found a better replacement. Pros: I bought it to add wireless to a slightly old P-4 desktop that I got from my friend. Works with Ubuntu 9. Rock solid connection with my router in another room separated by couple of walls good throughput.
